Lisa Glass serves as Vice President with ROSS Communications, where she is responsible for issue management, message development, media relations and coalition building for clients.
Before joining ROSS, Ms. Glass served from 1999 to 2010 as Public Relations Manager for Hoover’s, Inc., a Dun & Bradstreet subsidiary. In this role, she was responsible for planning, implementing and managing media, analyst, customer and community relations activities, including social media outreach, executive media training, drafting of support materials, news releases, customer case studies and byline articles.
With expertise in media relations, Ms. Glass secured more than 50 broadcast segments to promote Hoover’s thought leadership on national network business programs and cultivated media relationships to secure recurring industry expert commentary in top-tier publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Business Week.
Prior to joining Hoover’s, Ms. Glass served from 1996 to 1998 as Communications Director for the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, where she managed communications and served as spokesperson for the agency.
Ms. Glass began her more than three decades-long communications career as a television reporter, anchor, producer, editor and photojournalist for KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, moving on to KXAN in Austin as a news reporter and anchor from 1990 to 1996.
Ms. Glass received a bachelor’s degree in radio-television broadcasting from the University of Houston, with a minor in journalism. She is the recipient of a broadcast award from the Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards and an Associated Press Best TV News Series Award.
